Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect through myconnection.agency, why we collect it and what rights you have, under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek law. This is a courtesy translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Greek version prevails.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

Through the contact forms we collect the details you give us: name, surname, phone, email address and your message, along with the page from which the form was submitted. In addition, while you visit the website, the infrastructure and hosting providers we use record basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, time of visit) for security and proper operation.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We use the form data exclusively to reply to your request and to contact you about the services you are interested in. The legal bases are taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when submitting the form. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, nor do we send you marketing messages without separate consent.

4. Recipients and transfers

Form submissions are delivered through Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA), acting as a processor. Form data may therefore be transferred outside the European Economic Area, with the appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). Technical data may also be accessed by the website's hosting and network providers, as well as by the database provider (Supabase) where the cookie-consent log is kept, on infrastructure within the European Union (Frankfurt) — see section 6. If you give consent via the cookie banner, website usage data is also received by Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta, as independent or joint controllers under their own policies. We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

5. Retention

We keep your contact details for as long as our communication or cooperation lasts and for no more than 24 months after the last contact, unless retention is required by law or necessary for the establishment or defence of legal claims.

6. Cookies and measurement tools

The website uses technically necessary cookies, which are always active. In addition, through a consent banner you can allow or reject two optional categories: Statistics (e.g. Google Analytics) and Advertising (e.g. Google Ads, Meta). We apply Google Consent Mode v2: all optional cookies are off by default and only what you choose is activated. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

To demonstrate our compliance (Article 7(1) GDPR), each banner choice is recorded in a secure database within the EU with a random technical identifier, the date and time, the country (derived from the IP address, without storing the IP itself), the browser type and your choices per category. This log is not used for any other purpose.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, and withdrawal of your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. To exercise your rights, email us at contact@myconnection.agency — we will respond as soon as possible and within the GDPR deadlines. If you believe the processing violates the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the way the website operates changes or when the law changes. The current version is published on this page with the date of the last update.
